Totem of Tiber Septim

The Totem of Tiber Septim is an artifact that functions as the control device for the Numidium, the great Dwemer brass golem. Only a Dragonborn - someone carrying the divine blood of Akatosh - can operate the Totem. Tiber Septim used it to direct the Numidium in his final conquests.

During the Daggerfall Crisis, the Totem was a key object sought by all major factions. Magnessen Brisienna of The Blades offered the Warlock’s Ring as payment for its recovery, as possession of the Totem - and thus control of the Numidium - would give the Empire undeniable power over all of Tamriel. The Totem’s ultimate use during the Warp in the West contributed to the catastrophic magical anomaly that reshaped the Iliac Bay region overnight.
