Aetherium exists in only a handful of locations deep within Dwemer ruins, and working it requires knowledge lost with their disappearance. As an alchemical ingredient, Aetherial Dust can fundamentally alter the properties of matter and amplify magical effects to extraordinary magnitudes. Its interaction with magicka is unlike any other substance in Tamriel.
