The Nord can daub themselves with war paint, called Woad, that is blessed by Kyne, and grants them mystical warrior-powers. The Nord can, as a Primary Action, apply a smear of ritually prepared Woad war paint, which grants a Physical and Magical shield that protects against 5 points of damage for 3 Rounds that refreshes for free each Round. After the third round, the shield is no longer refreshed and dissipates once the shield HP is reduced to 0 or the character takes a Long Rest.
Preparing one dose of Woad paint requires the Nord to have access to natural plants, an open sky, and must be performed over a Long Rest as they beseech Kyne for her blessings in the battles to come. This dose of Woad paint must be applied before the character’s next Long Rest. Requires Sons of Skyrim (Talent)
